What do you think of a cat on valium?
I recently got my cat back from the vet with a prescription of valium and perscription food (urinary health). Supposedly The valium is supposed to make him eat more. I didn’t really understand that because he weighs 17 pounds. Seeing him on that has to be the most funny thing I have seen in a long time, lol. He was already really, really mellow.
I was just wondering what you guys think about a cat being on valium?
will they give a 17 year old valium?
i’m going doctor shopping soon, in that i finally told my parents i wanted to see my moms psychiatrist because of a debilitating anxiety problem(lie). i have lived with extreme anxiety for so long i don’t need drugs to control it (i get off on being stressed), but i am doing this with the intention of getting valium (i am merely food for my obsessions these days), do you think i will get it? i am going to do my research and argue that giving me anything else (don’t want xanax or lorazepam) will only make me more anxious.
i am 17 years old, know alot about psychology and pharmacology and hope i can out smart a man who clearly doesn’t bleed for his patients.
could a 17 year old get valium?

How can we keep our kitten from attacking us in our sleep?
If we lock him out of the room, he just cries all night. We’ve tried spraying him with water. Ineffective. We push him off the bed, he just climbs right back up. Valium in the cat food would just be cruel. Please, anyone have any ideas to calm our little 14-week old kitty down?
Patience
He is still a baby and feet moving beneath the covers are creatures to attack.
The one thing I have tried that works somewhat is to tire the kitty out before your bedtime. Begin a very vigorous playtime each night about 30 minutes before you want to go to bed.
Whatever you do don’t reinforce his annoying behavior by giving any positive feedback like patting him or playing some more after the designated play period. Ignore him, completely.
If he’s in your bed relaxed and sleepy, do reinforce that with a nice massage.
He will behave better as he gets older.

My friend’s cat was put on valium because it would chew on its own tail. However, for your situation id take it to a new vet and get a second opinion.

Maybe this anxiety screening test would help. You could print it out and take it with you. (Answer it honestly!)
