Is it safe to take Valium (diazepam) 10mg & Percocet (endocet) 5 mg together if you are in severe pain before?
before having an MRI ??? I am in so much pain that I cannot lay down flat yet for a MRI.

Why would you take any of it if you don’t need to?
Diazepam typically causes, especially in people who have not taken it, sedation, anxiolysis (reduced anxiety), and sometimes a mild euphoria.
Often the first couple of uses almost completely eliminates anxiety and people feel tranquil, safe, happy, and uninhibited.
However people rapidly develop selective tolerance meaning they become tolerant (adapt) to the sedation and euphoria. However people do not become tolerant to the anxiolysis or it can take decades for tolerance to occur.
So even if you don’t have anxiety (“nerves” is an antiquated and improper term for anxiety) you will likely fell less anxious or you will sleep.

What will happen to me if I take one of these pills? I’m having some personal problems at the moment and am finding it difficult to sleep and just have worry on my mind. My friend gave me a valium the other day and said it would mellow me out when feeling stressed… Should I just take one? And how will it make me feel? Thanks,,,

4mg Diazepam (valium) and 10mg Propranolol (beta blockers).. PLEASE HELP?
One doctor gave me 10mg Propranolol (a beta-blocker) and a few days later another doctor gave me 4mg Diazepam (valium) for a scary event tomorrow. I am terrified because neither of these had much effect on me whatsoever.
My question is why did they not have an effect on me and also can I mix the two medications together?
P.S.. I suffer from severe panic attacks and anxiety.
Neither are particularly useful in the modern management of anxiety. 10 mg doses of propranolol are too small a dose to have any real effect on the somatic (physical) symptoms of anxiety and diazepam, a poor drug at best, as a single dose, has no more than a placebo effect either.

whats the difference between 10mg valium (Diazepam) 1mg xanax (Alprazolam)?
For your average patient, Xanax 1mg would make them VERY relaxed. On the other hand, the valium would probably have them snoring.
The effect of the valium lasts longer. But, it’s also more likely to stop your breathing than the xanax.
Having said that, different people handle meds differently. Valium might snow you, but not me. Or vice versa.
