6. Drink baking soda

"I read an article in the newspaper quoted a doctor who wants to quit smoking. Mix a tablespoon of baking soda with a glass of water and then drink it twice a day for the first week, and once a day for the second week. I was smoking a pack or approximately 30 stems cigarettes a day. I had two glasses on Sunday and Monday. It is like Alka-Seltzer (like vitamin C). On Sunday and Monday, I smoked two cigarettes. On Tuesday I just smoked a cigarette and then stopped altogether. I go baking soda mixture until a week. I do not even think to continue until the second week. I've stopped smoking for 20 years. 7. Hypnotize yourself "I am a psychologist in New Jersey. In 1976 then, I had my doctorate, hypnosis training, and smoking a pack of cigarettes every day. On New Year's party, a friend asked me to show my hypnosis skills in order to help him quit smoking. We spent about an hour, where he was in an unconscious condition. One week later, my friend talking on the phone, and he was smoking. At that moment I realized that I did not smoke during the last week. I had hypnotized myself!
