Smoking Does Effect You in Many Ways
Author: Vince Robertson
Smoking has became one of the largest business in the world today.Smoking has also became one of the largest health care expenses of our time.Cigarettes have a chemical called nicotine that is highly addictive. There are also many other chemicals in cigarettes that are
very harmful to the body. The nicotine in cigarettes is habit forming and becomes very hard to quit.People get addicted to nicotine just like any other drug. This is a physical and mental condition which causes withdrawal symptoms. When smokers try to quit they experience these symptoms. This is the main reason most people fail when trying to quit smoking.
Withdrawal symptoms happen to most people who go through the process of quitting.Even though they may be short lived, they can be rather intense and can sometimes become too much for the person to bare.If you can make it through the first two weeks your ability to
quit greatly increases.Once you make it pass this point most withdrawal symptoms disappear.
There are two different types of withdrawal symptoms:physical and mental. In the first two weeks physical symptoms can be hot flashes, sweating, and cold sweats. You can also start getting stomach cramps as well as feelings of being nauseous and there are also some people who experience more headaches and migraines.Once you quit smoking you might potentially experience flu symptoms or symptoms similar to that of a cold. These could include sore throats, problems with your sinuses,a bit of coughing as well as other symptoms associated with the flu. All these symptoms are just the body adjusting to no nicotine.
You may start to feel emotional symptoms. This includes becoming more prone to throwing tantrums which can happen at any time. You can also feel very irritable, experience very intense feeling such as anger. You are more likely to get things mixed up and confused, due to the fact that you can not concentrate, because of all the emotions that your body is going through. You will probably become very anxious over nothing.Becoming depressed is very likely during this time of stress.
The good news is that after two or three weeks all these symptoms start to gradually go away.If you are having a difficult time with this, you may need to try stop smoking with hypnosis remedies.
People have found out that working on the mental side is a great benefit to help quit smoking. The mind is what tells you that this is not working and convinces you that you'll be better off to just smokeinstead of trying to quit.Don't give into these thoughts, because if
you've made it two weeks, you've made it through the hardest part, and it only gets easier from here. Before you give in and start back, look at what "Smoking Effects"does to the body. Good Luck!

Is smoking giving me stomach cramps?
Ive been beginning to get awful stomach pains and the need to go for a poo when i have a cigarette
Its not everytime but its becoming more frequent.
I dont really want to go to my doctor because i dont want him to give me a lecture about smoking.
I just wanna know a name for what is wrong with me and why smoking is causing it without a big lecture. If i know what it is then i have more of an incentive to give up smoking.
It’s unlikely that smoking has caused your cramps, but it is always possible. You might have a stomach or other gastro- intestinal infection or inflammation and if so,
your stomach cramps are probably caused by diarrhea, but you have to see your doctor to be sure.
If your abdominal-pain continues for a few more days, or if you notice blood in the toilet, you have to see your doctor.
It’s unlikely that he’ll give you a lecture about smoking, because that and your symptoms are probably unrelated.
I have had really bad cramps in my lower stomach and side?
I smoke maybe one cigertte a day, and I’ve had these cramps that come and go every few hours. Sometimes, I dont notive them at all, and other times their horrible. I’m just wondering if they are from smoking, or its because im sexually active. I dont have any of the signs of being pregnant, so Im just curious if its from too much smoking. Thanks for your input.
U COULD BE PREGNANT AND NOT EVEN KNOW IT AND U MIGHT HAVE SIGNS OF A MISCARAGE GO TO A DOCTOR IF U START BLEEDING AND IT NOT URE PERIOD,,,
I HAD A MISCARIAGE I WAS 3 MONTHS AND DIDNT KNOW BOUT IT TILL I FELT THESE REALLY BAD CRAMZ
what causes gas to be trapped in the stomach? does it cause difficulty to break wind?
my husband suffers severe stomach cramps and flatulence every month. it occurs especially during the full moon days.it is so intense that even talking and slight movements also cause a lot of pain. this pain stays for 2 to 3 days n gradually subsides.he smokes n drinks regularly. what could be the problem that he is suffering from? is there any treatment?
A lot of conditions (one or more of them) could be involved in your husband’s problem. A few examples include:
1) gallbladder problems
2) hiatal hernia
3) pancreatic insufficiency
4) food allergies/intolerances (e.g. gluten allergies or lactose intolerance)
5) fatty liver disease/steatohepatitis.
Because of his medical history of smoking and drinking, it would be wise (very wise) to have a thorough medical evaluation. This could be the beginning of something very serious.
Best wishes and good luck.
Can marijuana affect your appetite when you’re not smoking?
I know that it gives you munchies when you smoke but what about when you aren’t smoking?
I’ve recently noticed that when I don’t smoke, I don’t have much of an appetite and if I do eat, it sometimes makes me feel nausea and I get stomach cramps. Could this be from weed or could it be from something else?
Also, this is what I take everyday:
-Multivitamin
-St. John’s Wart
-Omega 3 Fish Oils
-Iron Supplement
-Potassium (because I have a deficiency)
If you smoke a lot of weed(and I mean a lot), there is a good chance it good be from smoking pot. This is because you body begins to associate smoking weed with eating. You need to eat though. I would recommend you take a multivitamin, and when you don’t feel like eating to drink a meal replacement. I would also recommend you don’t use pot for a couple days to see if it gets better. If you still don’t feel like eating after stopping it for about 5 days, I would go see a doctor(be honest with the doctor, they cannot by law tell the cops about you smoking weed.)
After quitting smoking, is severe fatigue normal and when does it go away?
I just quit smoking, and I am on my second day. Today, has been the toughest yet. I am severely fatigued. I have vertigo and stomach cramps. Is all this normal and does the fatigue go away on its own, or is it here to stay?
I also got so dizzy that I actually fell and hurt my ankle. How long till these symptoms subside?
Day three is always the hardest. It does get easier from there. It’s completely normal to feel like your brain does not work anymore. This will get better by Day 7. In the meantime take it easy and reward yourself for everyday that you don’t smoke. Good Luck.
