Teenage Addictions

Teens believe it’s cool to use marijuana because they hear songs about it and see it on Television and in movies. Some adolescence may sense they need marijuana and other drugs to help them run away from problems at home, at school, or with friends.
No matter how many shirts and caps you see printed with the marijuana leaf, or how many groups sing about it, remember this: teens won’t have to make use of marijuana just because they believe everybody else is doing it. Most adolescents do not use marijuana!
Marijuana is a green, brown, or gray mixture of dried, shredded leaves, stems, seeds, and flowers of the hemp plant. You may hear marijuana called by lane names such as pan, herb, wild plant, prairie, boom, chronic etc. There are more than 200 terminology terms for marijuana. Sinsemilla (sin-seh-me-yah; it’s a Spanish word), hashish (“hash” for short), and hash oil are stronger forms of marijuana.
Teens smoke marijuana
Opposing to fashionable belief, most teenagers do not use marijuana. Among undergraduate surveyed in a yearly national survey, only about one in six 10th graders report they are recent marijuana users
Young people use marijuana
There are various reasons why some kids and young adolescence start smoking marijuana. Many immature teens smoke marijuana because they see their brothers, sisters, friends, or even older family members using it. Some use marijuana because of gaze pressure.
Regular marijuana users repeatedly develop breathing problems, such as chronic coughing and puffed. Marijuana contains the same cancer causing chemicals as tobacco. The amount of tar inhaled by marijuana smokers and the intensity of carbon monoxide absorbed by those who smoke marijuana are three to five times greater than among tobacco smokers
All forms of marijuana used by teens are mind-altering. In other words, they alter how the brain works. Teens take core vigorous chemical in marijuana. THC (delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol), they also have more than 400 other chemicals. Marijuana’s effects on the user depend on its strength or effectiveness, which is related to the amount of THC it contains (5). The THC content of marijuana has been rising since the 1970s.
The way marijuana used
Marijuana is habitually smoked as in a pipe or a bong by teens. Recently, it has appeared in cigar wrappers called blunts, when it is frequently combined with another drug, such as crack cocaine.
Marijuana stays in the user’s (teens) body as
THC in marijuana is quickly absorbed by greasy tissues in various organs. Generally, traces of THC can be detected by typical urine testing methods several days after a smoking session. However, in chronic heavy users, traces can occasionally be detected for weeks after they have stopped using marijuana.

The name of this Busta Rhymes song “get hiiigh”?
A friend of mine sent me one particular Busta Rhymes song that I really like. After extensive Googling, I can’t find the exact name, but I do know part of the lyrics.
From the introduction [Substitute "people" for the n-word]:
All My Dutch Master People. All my Philly Smoking people. All my Bamboo people. All my zig-zag people All my Bong smoking people All my Chalice Smoking. All my Hash Crushing people.
[high-pitched voice, in between each line] Get hiiiiigh
One particular choice line “expert at rolling dutch masters”, “one hand it the air, wave it around like a magical wand”.
I can’t find anything on the official discography pages (the closest thing is Get High Tonight, which isn’t it).
Does anyone know?
Maybe it is a Leaders of the New School song …
is it normal to feel this way every time i smoke?
so i have smoked weed several times. i have never had heart problems but ever since i smoked hash one night every time i smoke anything (especially bong hits) my heart feels like its gonna pound out of my chest its freaky!! i then freak out and obsess over it like no other! i get the burning in the chest and freak out and swear that im gonna die… i can never tell if my heart is going irregularly or not and i also wonder if its just my lungs hmm it wont stop me but is it normal or is there seriously a problem???
Are there chemicals in hash or marijuana that can induce a seizure?
When I was a teen I used drugs and I had an episode where after smoking a bowl of hash from a bong I actually had a seizure. I lost consciousness and my whole body jerked uncontrollably, weird thing was I was still twitching before and after I passed out so there were moments where I was actually conscious and unable to regain control of my limbs. My boyfriend at the time had a panic attack because he thought I was dieing. that was the last time him or me used drugs, but for the past year Ive been having fainting episodes every week. I was wondering if my fit could have similar causes as the fainting i’m having now (which is preceded by dizziness, heart palpitations and when i am unconcious there is no movement)OR could there be some chemical in hash that can cause seizure, is it an additive or a marijuana derivative OR could it have been the strain of the intake of smoke……………………any ideas?
Thanks everybody for your input! I have been to the doctor and i’m not epileptic. the fainting they think is a heart condition called vasovagal syncope which thankfully is not life threatening. and it seems to be completely unrelated to the hash incident.
i’d say i have to put it down to chemical adulterants in the hash. ironicaly i never wanted to smoke all the street crap for that very reason and this time specificaly it was meant to be very high grade spanish hash that a friend had brought me from his friend who cooked it. but you never know i guess, can never be sure even if it seems reliable.
now i just wonder which chemicals could have effected me like that!
and spanky, that’s hilarious! the poor girl
It’s possible but not likely. It is possible for your doctor to test you for an allergy to cannabis. You might want to check that out. But unless it happened to you every single time you used hash or smoked marijuana it’s unlikely that it was the cause. What is more likely is that somehting used to make the hash caused you to seize. It has been my experience that most people are confused about what hash actually is and what it actually contains. Often “hash” is collected using some kind of organic solvent. So that there was some kind of adulterant in it is very within the realm of possibility. If you want to be sure, get tested by your doctor. Lastly, not to sound like mom or dad, you should know better than to ingest anything that has had a non clinical chemical process performed on it. It isn’t actually necessary to produce hash, which is really just a mechanical seperation, but as I indicated a lot of people are confused about what it is and how to make it and most of the time they screw it up.
what is the best way to smoke hash?
So im in europe, have some hash, and was wondering what’s the best way to smoke it if i don’t have weed? should i roll a pure hash joint? or g bong it? any other ideas/ methods please describe how to do them if you post a new method thanks!
OOOO, hash is awesome. Good for you.
The BEST way to smoke hash is to enjoy the incredible flavor by putting small bits on a screen in a drypipe. Smoke it as you would a bowl full of bud. There are a million shapes of dry pipes and they all work fine.
You can also smoke it in a slide in a bubbler or bong. Put several small bits in your slide, or on top of bud in your slide, either works very well.
I tried rolling a joint with bud topped with hash, and I got laughed at, so I have no advice for you on that one.
Survey: Is smoking hash in a soda can bong still cool?
It was back in the 80′s and 90′s.
Corned beef hash is better rolled up in paper.
