Do you think the unpleasant smell/odor in my office makes me sick? Please help.?
There’s a large pipe in one corner of my office. This pipe is connects all the restrooms from each floor to the septic tank. Though I’m not so sure if it really comes from that pipe, an unpleasant smell lingers in my office no matter how try to get rid of it. Do you think it can make me sick? For more than a year now, my digestive system had been suffering from acid reflux, gastric ulcer and duodenitis. I never smoked and drank occasionally. Please share your opinion. thanks.
Yes, goodness yes. Our pike in the bathroom was leaking. It was leaking for awhile, but didn’t know until I notice that the water was on the floor. I have to tear the wall down. Beside it fill with back mold. I don’t know if its smell, or it course me to have a stress from seeing it, when I tried to clean up the mess, I got sick very bad. I heard that some mold will make you sick.
can you smoke, take xanax or vidodin after gastric bypass surgery?
please dont lecture i know the normal risks
i understand no body recommends it, even without surgery and im not sure if i will continue to take part in theses activities but im curious to know can you smoke, take xanax or vidodin after gastric bypass surgery? i know smoking afterwards can cause ulcers but is it for sure? i quit before the surgery and many ask why start again but to tell you the truth, i enjoy smoking and i dont want to be critized on the risks of smoking or anything ive heard time and time again, i just want to know if i light up after the surgery what am i at risk for
Just wanted to let you know, I had GB Surgery a week ago and my doctor said it’s fine to start taking the Xanax again. Everyone is different so talk to your doctor before doing anything though. As for smoking, I had to quit for the surgery too. It sucks, I know. But it gets a little easier, especially with the Xanax. Talk to your doctor about Chantix or maybe Wellbutrin or some kind of smoking aid. It helps. I want to start back up so bad but I’m scared it might tear the pouch with ulcers like they say. And really, after going through all of this to get healthy, it makes sense to not start up again. But I get it. I really do. Good luck with everything. I hope this helps a little.
———perforated gastric ulcer – time of recovery?..?
this is urgent! my mother in law is making me wanna shoot myself! or her
she had her ulcer burst up and went to surgery bla bla bla (the little b*tch was CONSTANTLY calling and asking favours from my boyfriend, well she always does that but whatever..)
and then she even was released from the hospital earlier than it was expected by the doctor!
its been a month (at least!) and she still complains and pretends she’s really really sick even though she smokes like a freakin chimney which ive researched and you really should do that with the ulcer problem.
well, this is getting really long but this is the thing that just gives her in: i asked for my boyfriend to ask her what is she doing for new year’s eve and if she is going to her hometown, so we could be alone, and the bitch said “oh no… i cant moooveee…im gonna stay here.. im so siiiick…”
i mean come on! she’s on the computer and smoking all day long, she’s not sick! AND HOW THE FLUCK DOES SHE KNOW THAT IN A MONTH SHE CANT MOVE????
its not even like she’s gonna run all the way to her hometown… its just getting in a car or train or whatever. jeeeesus.
linda A, if you or anyone can find what’s the maximum time of recovery is it would be so so great. i need to know im not paranoid and show my boyfriend she’s just faking it.
If I smoke a cigg what will happen?
Had RNY gastric bypass Nov. 19th.
Will one cigg give me an ulcer and all those other side effects???
Or are those warnings for people who smoke like a pack a day?
There is a possibility, but not a very high percentage rate. The reason people get the ulcers and other side effects are from the nicotine. Just smoking one can make you want to smoke another, then another, and… you get the point. Don’t worry, but try to not smoke any more. Many people die at least 30 years earlier if they smoke often. Also they look really old when they could be only 20.
does smoking marijuana affect stomach ulcers?
I think i got an ulcer my symptoms seem to indicate it. I wake up throwing up, and at times throw up stomach acid (yellow fluid). I think my eating habits of fast food and spicy foods brought it to me since i don’t really drink much now days. I smoke marijuana at night to relax. I am thinking of smoking a little to get an appetite to at least eat something today..does anyone know if marijuana smoke will affect a possible gastric ulcer in a negative way?
my other symptoms include
chills
pain in middle of stomach (hot showers minimize my pain i notice)
Throw up in the mornings (today 3 times) the last time was stomach acid
no appetite
…then all of a sudden it disappears for a while..
