Is smoking marijuana on the first month of pregnancy harmful?
After I found out I was pregnant(the end of the first month) I stopped using marijuana. Will my baby be greatly affected?
Smoking marijuana will have little to no effect on your child.
I support marijuana and it’s consistency with being a relatively safe and harmless substance for medical, recreational and spiritual purposes.
But, a fetus is sensitive to all things entering your body. So, why take the risk? My suggestions, let your worries subside about any harm you fear you may have caused your baby, realize the baby is just fine and continue to abstain from marijuana use for the remainder of your pregnancy.
Smoking First month of pregnancy/?
I have just found out I have been pregnant for about a month and I have been smoking. I will stop now but did i seriously harm my baby for smoking for the first month????
My Dr. told me not to quit. Quitting causes stress and will harm the baby. So I cut back to 5-7 a day. The result. 3 pregnancies, 3 big and healthy babies. All because I listened to my Dr. His advice benefited my children.
So scared about smoking marijuana during first month of pregnancy?
I just found out that I am 1 month pregnant as I did not miss my period the first month.
I smoke about 2 joints a day – obviously done now, but do you think this could have harmed my baby???
I am so scared….I am not touching it now that i know, not retarded like that.
I am sure you are fine, but consult with your doctor.
Maybe you shouldn’t be taking illegal drugs in the first place and you wouldn’t be worried about how this is going to affect your unborn child.
Take care of yourself and that baby till it’s born.
Good Luck

While it’s not something I ever recommend for anyone pregnant to do, marijuana has no proven negative effects on a fetus.
