Quit Smoking Cigarettes

Author: joe latham

If you are dead serious about quitting smoking then the latest quit smoking device on the market called an e-cig. might be the answer to your problems.  I smoked personally since I was thirteen and I have tried everything to help myself quit smoking.

The most interesting story was when some Mormon men came to my house and took away all of my nicotine lozenges and handed me a bottle of cranberry juice and did a prayer.  It was the mot memorable experience of my attempts to quit smoking but it did'nt work out.

I recently tried the electronic cigarette from Luxurio and it helped my finally kick the habit in the butt for good.  I am so happy that I finally quit smoking for life.  All of my friends and family are really proud of me.

So by now you are wondering what all is the electronic cigarette.  Basically it is a stop smoking device with a reusable filter.  You can have non-nicotine or nicotine.  Heck they even have flavors if this is what you like to smoke.  The cool part is that when you are smoking an e cigarette you won't inhale all of those cancer causing chemicals.

The best way that I quit smoking is that I quit drinking all alcoholic beverages and then I went from nicotine cartridges to non-nicotine cartridges.  This worked for me and it can work for you.  They even offer you a free trial to see if you like it or not.  It might just save your life.

The next time you go grocery shopping, get Lean Cuisine or South Beach Diet stuff since they are supposed to be in Total Cholesterol. Stay away from candy and junk food and eat something that is high in fiber and low in Cholestrol – you will feel a lot better and you will lose weight in no time, and get out and excercise and possibly mean up with friends and/or relatives and walk with them.

Who quit smoking cigarettes after they smoked for more than 5+ years?
I quit smoking cigarettes forever, but it wasn’t hard i just didn’t crave for nicotine one day. I’ve been smoke free for 8 months.

I quit after 6 years of smoking but I wasn’t as lucky as you. I couldn’t just quit and it took me several goes. It wasn’t until I dealt with my psychological addiction that I actually quit.

I truly believe that smoking is more of a psychological addiction than a physical one. If people are struggling to quit then they must discover the reasons why they smoke and then eliminate or change these thought processes. Once you deal with the psychological side of smoking I reckon it makes the quitting process easy.

What is the best way to quit smoking cigarettes?
I have this bad habit now for almost 10 years and I really want to quit smoking, because of the effects nicotine has. What is the best way? Should I set up a time line? I smoke about a pack of cigarettes a day and want to stop as quick as possible.

      Hi Peter,
it’s great that you want to stop smoking. I have been smoking for about 15 years before I decided to quit. The best thing to do is to get some assistance, only 5% of all people who go cold turkey are going to succeed. But there are many options that can help you to stop your smoking habit.

You can use nicotine patches, gum or talk in groups about your habit, but it is also very important that you don’t do the things you usually do when you smoke a cigarette, for example if you drink a coffee in the morning and have a cigarette… dont drink the coffee anymore, it will make it easier if you break this habits.

What worked best for me was to read different books that a friend suggested who went through the same a year earlier. The one that I think was best is this one: http://tinyurl.com/no-more-smoking . Did you know that it takes an average smoker 4 tries? I was successful at the first try and that is now more then a year ago.

      Good luck Peter!

Successful ways to quit smoking cigarettes?
I have been smoking cigarettes for two years. I have tried to quit six times in the past six months. None of these times have been successful and I am sick of this habit. I am just asking for people to share their stories on what they have done to successfully quit smoking. I’m going to try and quit again, and i need all the help i can get. Thanks!
