Drink Detective™ Tests For Date Rape Drugs
Author: Bryan J Buckner
Several years ago a friend of mine was out with some girl friends at a local college nightclub. That night some guys slipped something in her drink. Later that night she was raped by multiple men. About six months later she committed suicide and it is believed that the date rape incident was the direct cause.
It was tragic, she courageously came forward and filed criminal charges against the men. The bottom line was no evidence and it was her word against theirs. As a result the charges were dropped. Soon after she began being ridiculed and mentally torchered by these men. The end result was devastating. Worst of all of this could have and should have been prevented.
Years later, it was a no brain-er when a company approached ours with a new product that could quickly, accurately and affordably test for the presence of over 60 illegal drugs, including the common date rate drugs. This new and highly effective drug test is now available. It allows the user to quickly, easily and accurately test your drink for the presence of over 60 drugs, including those associated with date rape.
It is impossible to test every drink but you should test if you have reason to suspect or you have a stronger than expected reaction to a drink. The Drink Detective™ is the only test of it's kind in the world, that detects most commonly abused drugs that are used to spike drinks for the purpose of rape, robbery or other crimes. The test detects the presence of the following drugs when dissolved in a drink: gamma hydroxybutyrate (GHB). Ketamine and the more than 60 drugs in the benzodiazepine group that includes Rohypnol®, Valium®, Xanax® and Clonopin®.The results are returned accurately in about 5 minutes.
Extensive testing has been done and this product won Popular Sciences' annual innovation award! For high school students, college students and singles who frequent clubs and bars this product is a must have. It could literally save your life or present evidence necessary to pursue criminal charges against offenders.
Facts suggest that drug-assisted crime is a widespread concern just about everywhere where people drink. A recent survey found that one in four women drinkers believed that they have had a drink spiked at least once. The problem is that these types of drugs are usually tasteless, odorless, work very quickly and the time window to detect these type drugs is very small. This is why awareness and now the Drink Detective™ are crucial to stopping and/or prosecuting the criminals responsible.
Sorority and fraternity houses should have the Drink Detective™ available at every social outing or gathering. Most now "designate" a sober or safe brother or sister to watch out for the group and make sure everyone comes and goes safely. Now they can add another layer of safety.
Bar and club owners should have a box of this stuff sitting behind the counter. The bartenders are typically sober and keep a pretty watchful eye on those who look as though they may have had too many. If they stop a situation that doesn't look right, who better to test a drink?
This product has and will continue to prevent date rape and has also provided law enforcement the evidence needed to prosecute these criminals.

Is there a benzodiazepine stronger than xanax?
I started on Ativan about 10 years ago, and switched up to xanax maybe 4 or so years ago. My tolerance is very high (always has been -even as a kid at the dentist they always had to give me double the novacaine for the procedure), and am currently taking 6 – yes, I said 6, mgs of xanax a day.. 2 mg x 3 a day. My tolerance is even stronger – is it safe to go up another 2 mg/day, or is there a stronger benzo for my severe anxiety? Valium and ativan don’t do a thing for me. Anyone out there have any ideas? (I know 6 mg/day of xanax is ALOT, but I’ve been seeing my shrink for the past 7 years – there’s obviously a story to my issues, but i wont go into that). I’m just wondering if there’s any other anti-anxiety meds that can work better on me than the xanax, from which I’ve formed a big tolerance to. Any advice?
Klonopin is a little longer acting. You could give that a try. As you said, your tolerance is high, and it may well be the case that there is no other benzo that will give you the results you’re seeking. Benzos, unfortunately, are rife with these sorts of problems.
Have you considered going at this in another direction? Some folks have had excellent results with SSRI type medications such as Paxil, and even atypical antidepressents such as Wellbutrin.
Best of luck to you,

Serious Question/Problem: Is Xanax or Valium better for anxiety?
I am one of the few people that actually takes benzodiazepines for legitimate stress and anxiety… have for years… so no ‘smart-arse’ answers please, LOL
I have taken Xanax(Alprazolam) 1mg twice daily since my mid-teens and have always done really well on it. It makes me more productive and less edgy, and has always helped greatly. It puts me in a much better mood.
My doc recently switched me to Valium(Diazepam) 10mg twice daily because he thought it would help me more.
Here’s the problem:
The Valium is taking the edge off, but not helping me as much as the Xanax did… but making me feel more incapacitated than the Xanax EVER did. And my mood is not nearly as good as it was on the Xanax. I can still function on the Valium, and it is helping SOMEWHAT, but it just seems like this was a bad switch to a med that wasn’t as helpful.
The thing is, I thought Valium was supposed to be STRONGER than Xanax? I thought it was supposed to be the preferred medication for anxiety and stress?
What is the difference between these two meds? Am I just going through a transition of medications? Will this eventually help me as much as the Xanax did, or should I talk to my doctor about switching back?
Thoughts are appreciated.

JB: Not to be rude, but I am a college-educated professional, not some random drug addict living in a trailer park. I am 27 years old, and been to at least 5 or 6 docs since my teens. They have put me on scores of ‘non-addictive’ alternatives in the past such as Buspar and Zoloft… and the problem is. I have always had to switch back to Xanax.
Unfortunately, the chemical agents that CAUSE the addiction are the chemical agents that HELP with the anxiety! Catch-22, right?
Millions of people take these medications each day for legitimate purposes. They were not developed as street drugs. And quite honestly, we could talk all day long about prescription medications that cause health problems… such as the alternatives you speak of, which can cause everything from high blood pressure to night terrors.
It’s a question between the two medications… not a question seeking alternatives to them, most of which have already failed for me.
My philosophy is “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”.
If Xanax was working fine for you, I’m having trouble understanding why your doctor thought Valium would help “more”. More than what? Xanax was working, right? You can request a switch back to it and find out what your doctor’s rationale is for suggesting this in the first place if Xanax was already doing the job.
There’s no significant difference between the two, both are anxiolytics and the pharmacological actions of each are the same. Xanax is short-acting, Valium is long-acting and Valium is also used for sedation and muscle spasms.
what are the differences between Vicodin, Percocet, and Valium/Xanax?
i heard that most people get vicodin for their wisdom teeth pain, but i got percocet for some reason. supposedly it’s stronger than vicodin because it has oxycodein or somethin. and my mom says she takes a xanax every time before she goes to the dentist because she hates going there.
just wondering what their differences are?
Percoset IS stronger than hydrocodone, it all depends on your doctor what you get, though. Hydrocodone and percoset are opiates, meaning they allow the good feeling chemicals in our head to come rushing in all at once. Xanax and valium are anti anxiety drugs. (benzodiazepine). They’re all four narcotics and you should be really really careful not to become dependant on them-it happens quickly. Take the percs only as long as absolutely neccesary. If you become adddicted your brain will stop producing dopamine on it’s own, and you’ll get extremely depressed because you’ll no loner be able to naturally find joy in things…well i’m rambling now. Be careful!
want to change from valium 10 to xanax 1 or 2mg b/c the Valium is no longer working. Does anyone have any info?
are Xanax stronger than Valium? B/c I NO LONGER FEEL THE VALIUM AT ALL & STILL HAVE MAJOR ANXIETY!
many studies have upheld that treating anxiety with benzodiazapines can create a downward spiral that actually ends up increasing anxiety and panic attacks. the current science has shown good long-term relief from behavioral therapy and medications combined. the problem with valium is that it is very short acting, meaning you get a big bang of calmness when you take it, but it lasts only about 4 hours. what happens then is that you get a rebound effect. the brain puts out more of the neurotransmitters that cause the anxiety (Like GABA). the body tries to maintain an equilibrium, so if you suppress a normal function, often the body responds by over-producing what you are trying to suppress. I prefer the longer lasting anxiety drugs such as Klonopin they don’t trigger this cycle as much and stay in your system longer so that there are still meds to cover you as your anxiety comes back up.
what is the most powerful benzo?
i know xanax is stronger than valium but their are many different variations of benzos i was just wondering is xanax the strongest or is their a more powerful one like clonopin etc.
Flunitrazepam (Rohypnol) appears to be the strongest one available.
