Is smoking weed a sin according to the bible?
I have read that weed doesn’t harm you if you dont smoke it every day. But just getting “high” is that a sin according to the bible?
The bible does not specifically say it is a sin, but since it damages your body and clouds your judgment, it is considered a defoliation of the Temple that is your body. And that is a sin. Thanks for the question, and have a great day!

If you’re feeling guilty or convicted, that’s God giving you the guilt because it IS in fact wrong.
I know there’s something in the bible about obeying the law set before you, and weed is against the law.

if smoking weed is actually a sin. I’ve done some research about it myself.
but for the most part i wanted to hear others opinions. I don’t see weed as a drug, because nothing is done to it chemically, its just pulled from the ground.

I’m a Christian, and I’m just curious on other Christians opinions on the topic. Do you consider weed to be a sin? I know that the Bible says nothing about smoking, but it does talk about drugs, and how it is a huge doorway for Satan. Then again, many don’t consider weed to be a drug because it is just a plant that is getting burnt. There is nothing man made in it, so some say that God made it so that it can be smoked. What is your opinion?

This is to say a Christian’s actions are not only governed by what is “officially” a sin. Instead, a Christian’s mind operates like that of Christ with a tendency to participate in activities that please and glorify God.
As an aside, the Bible tells us to be obedient to the government as long as that obedience does not conflict with our obedience to God. Marijuana is illegal in the US for un-licensed persons and therefore should not be in the possession of un-licensed Christians.

ok to sum up my question, i know smoking weed isn’t a sin at all and that in the bible it says we should receive it as thanksgiving. but then i came across the topic of obeying the laws of man. and since i live in the USA weed is illegal, so if i smoke weed in USA, would i be sinning because it is against the law to smoke weed? also if someone could post some websites about this stuff would be great, thanks
