Ever thought you were smoking too much weed?
I really want to stop, but sometimes feel like I have a phycological dependancy. It makes me very lazy and Im not achieving everything that I need to do. please does anyboby have any tips?
Phsychological addiction is often harder to deal with than physical addiction for a lot of people. Everyone says that weed is not addictive, but I know from personal experience that it is. Try and cut down, maybe have one after dinner and before bed if you can’t give up at all. I found that helped me do at least some of the things I needed to do in the daytime. Then if you can, try to just smoke at the weekend. Once you feel clearer headed throughout the week you will see just how much better you feel. I stayed away from friends that I knew would be chuffing away, as the tempation was too strong. I might smoke more cigarettes now (something I intend to also cut down) but I can think that bit clearer through the day. I do have the odd j, but I know its adding to my mental health issues and want to stop. You will find your energy slowly comes back and then one day you will ask yourself what the attraction was.

it does not do damage. there was a guy who smoked marijuana everyday for 30 days and when they ran physical and mental tests on him the doctor had concluded that his health was unaffected by his use of cannabis…although he did have a higher sperm count… haha

Unlike heavy tobacco smokers, heavy marijuana smokers exhibit no obstruction of the lung’s small airway. That indicates that people will not develop emphysema from smoking marijuana…… =]
Am I Smoking Too Much Weed In College?
I can summerize my college experience as weed, liquor, and parties. Sometimes I feel like we dont do nothing but smoke weed here. My floor is full of weedheads and Ive made quite a few smoking friends who have me smoking more than usual. Infact, I actually stopped smoking during the summer but when I got here, the weed pulled me in because of its accessibilty. Wit so many weedheads in vacinity, if you dont got it, somebody else does. Im smoking so much lately that sometimes I skip out on hanging wit my non smoking friends to go smoke weed wit my weedhead friends. Most of the time when my non smoking friends come knocking on my door looking for me after 5 o’clock, Im usually not in there cuz Im somewhere smoking. Am I becoming a weedhead? I smoke so much weed that I dont even do homework anymore.

i smoke a lot too.. but i realized that it is a problem when it becomes your life and you do (or don’t do) the same stuff everyday.
i know its not that easy to quit such a habit but if you could just have some academic goals and strive to achieve them, then it wouldn’t be so bad to smoke weed if you’re on top of your shit.

It doesn’t kill you, but it’s probably not a good idea to smoke that much. Especially while you’re long. It can fuck with your lungs, your short term memory, and your cognitive abilities (which it obviously has based on the way your type).

It can lead to short term memory while you are using it, not necessarily while influenced by it though.
In other words, you could use it everyday for a week straight and then not use it one day but you could still suffer from SHORT term memory loss for a little while.
NONE of it is permanent however, that is a myth
